Safety Risk Management Process:
Workplace injuries occur every seven seconds, but you can beat these odds when you invest in safety leadership, coaching and training. Studies show that providing safety coaching and training to employees is effective in decreasing injuries, illnesses and fatalities, reducing costs, and increasing employee happiness. At Chemstream, we believe in investing heavily in our employees safety as well as the safety of our customers.
To achieve zero incidents, we have a robust STOP WORK AUTHORITY program where employees are incentivized to identify, mitigate, and eliminate hazards that may impact the health and safety of themselves, co-workers, and third parties. Chemstream employees are
recognized for their exceptional job performance and participation in developing a strong safety culture within Chemstream. We use advanced technology and software to track our safety metrics and case management.
At Chemstream, our Significant Injury and Fatality (SIF) Program identifies and mitigatesthe severity of hazard potentials encountered in the workplace through utilization of exposure control methods and system improvement strategies to ensure proactive safety. Our SIF
program is part of our continued improvement process in creating sustainable action to minimize incident severity.
